I chose this article because nowadays the global warming is a very important issue. Everyone in the world was worried about the changes of the earth very much, there were a lot of changes that happened from global warming and many people worried such as climate changes, environment changes, Ozone atmosphere get damaged, ice in tundra melts, or many storms in the world. These all problems occurred from humans activities, for example humans released carbon monoxide to the atmosphere, released dirty water with dangerous chemicals to river and sea etc. Singapore is a country that release a lot of greenhouse gas to the world, so they need to think plans how cut it.
In this news, Singapore said that they will decrease emission of greenhouse gas by seven to eleven percent on business manufactures by 2020. From last year Singapore release plans to cut the greenhouse gas. The environment minister of Singapore Yaacob Ibraham said Singapore would start plan after he came back from Copenhagen.
In my opinion, I think now global warming is a very big problem for the entire world, so everyone needs to help this world, not only the governments. If we not do it, may be in the future we will don’t have this world to live anymore.
